According to the instructions of the U-Bahn operations manager at Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) AöR (hereinafter also referred to as AG), stations are to be temporarily manned with staff if, due to the construction, there is only one exit per platform with fixed stairs to a safe area or to the open air .

The service to be provided includes the provision of evacuation helpers who are supposed to support the operating staff in evacuating the stations in an emergency. It can be used at all BVG underground stations (Appendix 3 DVU underground).

The occupations of the stations depend on the specific construction projects and activities and can vary. B. are required because of suddenly occurring construction defects.

The focus is on the night times, during the day BVG staff are usually on duty.
