The purpose of this contract is, in accordance with the provisions and requirements of this specification, to conclude a multi-year contract, known as a “purchase order”, for a period of four years (48 months) for the supply, during that period, of new ambulances primarily to replace used or decommissioned vehicles and to meet the requirements of new needs.

In accordance with the terms and conditions of this special specification, the tenderer undertakes to provide and make operational, in the various services of the Relief Zone of Wallonia Picarde, the vehicles and equipment described in his tender and to provide the necessary assistance for their start-up.

The number of ambulances covered by this contract is estimated to be between three and twelve vehicles. However, the attention of the tenderers is drawn to the fact that the quantities indicated in this special specification are presumed quantities. Therefore, there are no minimum or maximum quantities. These are given as a purely indicative basis without obligation on the part of the contracting authority. Notification of the award of the contract to the tenderer therefore does not require the contracting authority to place orders for a minimum overall amount and the contracting authority reserves the right to adapt its orders to the changing needs of the contracting authority.
