Sarastia Oy requests an offer for school transport on behalf of the City of Orimattila. The tender concerns the school transport of classes 1-9 of pre-primary and basic education in the City of Orimattila. The invitation to tender shall cover the transport of pupils who cannot be organised on open public transport buses. The need for transportation may vary so that the student can use the bus on the morning's school trip, but not in afternoon return transports. On different days of the week, transport needs may also vary. There are no public transport school shifts around some schools, which means that all transport pupils have to be transported by taxi ride. For more information, see Background of procurement.

The acquisition is divided into 12 subassemblies (routes).

The invitation to tender concerns the management of school transport on the basis of a passenger licence or a taxi licence on school days. Transports are divided into 12 destinations

- 9 destinations : direction / area with transport to two or more schools

- 3 destinations: individual school transfers — Järvikunta, Kuivanto and Vuorenmäki

The bidder may offer to one or more subsets.

The tender for the academic year from 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2023.

At the customer's discretion, extension agreements may be concluded with the successful tenderers for the academic years 2023 – 2024 and 2024 –2025. The exercise of possible options is agreed on one academic year at a time and on a sub-package basis before the end of the contract period.

In the invitation to tender, the tenderer shall also be referred to as a supplier or operator.

A prior notice of the acquisition has been published, which is why the offer period is less than 30 days.
