The contract comprises operational and maintenance assignments, with function responsibility for some of the assignments, on county roads, and county foot/bicycle paths with associated side installations, side areas, equipment and installations in parts of Sandefjord and parts of Larvik Municipalities in accordance with the road list provided in chapter D2-V1 and D2-S20.

The road network included in the contract (including arms and ramps) consists of:

— 242 585 km roads in total of which 231 144 km county roads,

— 11 441 km count foot/cycle paths.

The traffic on the road network varies from approx. ADT 200 to approx. ADT 10 000 and an annual traffic growth of approx. 3 % is expected.
