The Hohenwarthe lock is a descent structure that was built as part of the Magdeburg waterway junction. It closes the eastern branch of the Mittelland Canal to the east and serves to overcome the difference in water level between the channel of the Mittelland Canal to the west and the Elbe-Havel Canal, which begins only 200 m further east. It was opened in October 2003, together with the Magdeburg Canal Bridge.
The power switching devices of the existing switchgear of the Hohenwarthe double lock and the associated pumping station are worn out and the entire switchgear has to be replaced.
All components listed in the specifications are to be procured, delivered, assembled and put into operation by the contractor (AN).
The distributions listed below are to be replaced. It is strongly recommended to inspect the facility before submitting a quotation. Times to reach the individual distributions as well as the incorporation into the existing system must be taken into account.
