The design, supply, installation, commissioning/decommissioning, upgrade and maintenance of laundry equipment to East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. The requirement will be divided into lots for the supply, of washing, drying and finishing equipment. There will be an optional lot to provide autoclaving equipment for the sterilisation of multi-use drapes and gowns.

The successful contractor(s) will be required to work in a live environment to supply and install the equipment in a phased project plan to ensure business continuity during the delivery stages of the project and thereafter as business demand requires.

It is current expected that Lots 1 and 2 will be designed, delivered, installed and commissioned by March 2015. However, the Trust reserves the right to amend the phasing of the project plan as the project requires.
