Kragerø Fjordbåtselskap IKS invites tenderers to qualify so they can submit a tender for

the procurement of a new and environmentally friendly 48 passenger catamaran.

The vessel must be equipped for 48 persons, speed area 3, and is to be built and equipped in accordance with the Norwegian Maritime Directorate's laws and regulations for passenger vessels.

A lot of weight will be put on some design elements:

- Small waves . low wave energy

- Low fuel consumption

- Bow ramp

- Pilothouse with good visibility and an overview of the bow and ramp

- Full size HC WC

- Good space for wheelchairs, prams, bicycles, and baggage

- Spacious saloon, threshold-free, good views Approx. 900 mm distance between rows of chairs and approx. 50 cm wide chairs

- Screened outside area on the after-deck

- Space for a small pantry

- Crew toilet

- Universal design

- Focus on good design, including:

- Design of passenger saloon

- Pilothouse/bridge - a good workplace

- The vessel must have a clear identity
