Universal Tensile Compression Testing Machine
The Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences intends to purchase a single-axle universal tension-compression testing machine in the load range from 0 to 150 kN, which is suitable for use on metallic materials, plastics, fiber composites and
Sandwich materials, such as those used in our industrial laboratories and in student training.
Tensile and bending and compression tests are standard test methods in materials engineering and an essential component of engineering training based on the standards listed below, the application of which the testing machine
must ensure:
• ISO 6892-1 Metal tensile test incl. modulus of elasticity
• ISO 10113 Determination of anisotropy of metals
• DIN 50106 Bending test on metals
• ISO 10275 Determination of the hardening exponent (flow curve)
• ISO 527 tensile test on plastics incl. modulus of elasticity
• ISO 37 tensile test on elastomers
• ISO 178 bending test on plastics
• ISO 604 Pressure test on plastics
Furthermore, for future-oriented research, it should also be possible to determine modulus of elasticity on metals via the Joule-Thomson effect.
Type and scope of the tender:
Design, production, assembly, delivery, installation, documentation (incl. risk assessment), commissioning, instruction and acceptance of a universal tension-compression testing machine including the necessary hardware and software for operation, control and evaluation
Appointment:
A visit to the premises is desired and possible by prior appointment until 14.11.2022. For appointments please use the email address vergabestelle@h2.de. Travel costs will not be refunded.
Vorabnahme:
An initial acceptance of the testing machine by the customer must be made possible at the manufacturer's site.
Delivery and installation conditions:
The delivery can be made with a short truck to the hall. For unloading, the indoor crane with a maximum payload of up to 10 t can be used by qualified personnel. A maximum door passage dimension of 170 cm width and 210 cm
Height must be taken into account for further transport after unloading. The usable height of the room for the installation of the device without conversions is 320 cm. When setting up the machine, a maximum surface load/load capacity of the
floor of 20 kN/m².
Delivery time: 14 weeks after award of the contract
Calibration:
The calibration of all force, length and deformation measuring systems should be carried out at the installation site to create the conditions for standard-compliant testing. The calibration of the force measuring devices and mechanical length measuring devices should be carried out in accordance with DIN ISO 7500 and the
Calibration of the optical extensometer according to DIN ISO 9513.
Training:
An instruction/training of the operating personnel takes place promptly after installation, commissioning and handover of the machine.
A second training session should take place after about 6 months after the operators have been trained.
warranty:
min. 24 months after delivery date on all system components
