Services in the field of system architecture and system analysis for the development of a service-oriented architecture in the German National Library with a volume of approx. 1,200 person-days

The subject of the order is services in the field of system architecture and system analysis for the development of a service-oriented architecture in the German National Library with a volume of approx. 1,200 person-days. The services to be provided include in particular the further development and completion of work begun on the import and long-term archiving processes in the sense of a service-oriented architecture. For this purpose, the use of the workflow engine Camunda and the implementation and testing of services must be supported.

Specifically, the existing monolithic implementations in the field of import and long-term archiving processes must be replaced in the sense of a domain-driven design approach. For this purpose, the division into meaningful services must be advised in order to advance the development of a service-oriented architecture. The development and testing of the components identified in this way (services, workflows) must be supported.

The services and applications are developed in Java 8 and J2EE for an operating environment based on Wildlfly 13. MySQl is used as the database if required, and Camunda is used as the workflow engine.
