The Consultant will support the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) / Global Program Water Initiatives (WIs) with expertise in the river basin organisation management; integrated water resources program planning, steering and monitoring over the period 1.1.2013 – 31.12.2015.

The Consultant will help SDC/WIs to ensure quality control of its integrated water resources management and water diplomacy strategic pillar. This strategic pillar consist in various support to a portfolio of projects, programs and global platforms and initiatives such as a. Blue Peace Initiatives (Middle East, Nile and Global).

b. Low Cost High Technologies in Water Resources Management.

c. Water Foot Print Initiatives.

d. Water Diplomacy Initiatives.

e. Payment for Watershed Services Initiatives.

f. Transboundary Aquifer Resource Management Initiative. This support will consist in participation to key events and/or mission as well as intellectual inputs through reports and memo upon SDC/WIs request.
