This Contract Notice advertises a Waste Transfer Station operation contract proposed to be let by Ceredigion County Council. It is envisaged that this will be a medium term contract for the operation of the Waste Transfer Station in the south of Ceredigion, which will accept Food Waste, Recycling Materials and Residual Wastes. The operation will include, but not be limited to, receiving, handling, bulking into containers, transportation to destinations and final disposal of the residual element.

The estimated tonnage to be handled on behalf of Ceredigion County Council is from 5,000 to 12,000 tonnes per annum.

It is expected that the contract will commence in April 2013.
