South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) is purchasing a load frame testing equipment mainly for the wood building materials, elements and components testing.

Pricing must include shipping costs to Savonlinna Finland (Vipusenkatu 10, 57200 Savonlinna, Finland), installation of the equipments and education of the personnel.

Load frame testing system will be purchased as a total system including test frame, actuators and kit for the testing material joining.

Acquisition includes load frame for structural building components lab testing. Components to be tested are mostly made out of wood, but also steel, concrete and composite structures are involved. Typical structures in the tests are beams, walls, floors, trusses, but also structural joints has to be able to test.

Typical wooden structures to be tested are CLT and LVL structures with different kind of variations and dimensions. Components to be tested are nearly full scale. Largest specimen dimensions might be 2,5 m x 3,5 m x 12 m (width, height, length).
