Oslo municipality c/o the Agency for Nursing Homes invites tenderers to an open tender competition for the procurement of contracts for the purchase of places in the concept ‘Inn på tunet’, the day offer for younger persons with dementia.

Oslo municipality has contracts for the purchase of places in the concept ‘Inn på tunet’, the day offers for younger persons with dementia. These contracts expire 30.09.2017.

The Agency for Nursing Homes shall enter into new contracts with 1-2 suppliers for the purchase of up to 15 places, with a duration of 4 + 1 + 1 years.

'Inn på tunet’ shall primarily provide an offer for younger persons with dementia.

The offer should also be open to physically fit older persons with dementia.

The 2020 Dementia Plan highlights the importance of having a meaningful and tailored offer for persons with dementia.

‘Inn på tunet’ shall fulfill a function that an ordinary day center cannot.

‘Inn på tunet’ is an offer that shall provide the possibility for people with dementia to fill their days with activities and master and experience these activities as meaningful. From 2020, it will be decreed by law for the municipalities to offer day offers for persons with dementia, and the Agency for Nursing Homes wants to have different types of offers for this user group.

The background for this is that many persons with dementia are physically fit, and have resources to use in tailored circumstances despite their dementia.
