The present procedure aims at the appointment of a construction team, in this case a multidisciplinary team, with the aim of demolishing existing constructions, the realization of 55 rental apartments with accompanying private parking and surrounding landscaping and a public landscaping. The assignment is spread over 2 buildings at 2 different locations within the Nieuw Gent district. Both buildings must meet the standards and guidelines of the Flemish Social Housing Company (VMSW).
The construction team will be responsible for the design, the necessary permits such as allotment and environmental permit applications, the implementation file, the implementation of the construction works, the private domain and (future) public domain up to and including final delivery.
In view of the Design-and Build procedure, the Tenderer is aware that when the construction team is awarded the contract, the level of detail of both projects must be ready for permit and that the award amount must be fixed.
