The subject of tendering concerns the maintenance of the sewerage system that the municipality of Nissewaard is liable for maintenance or ownership of.

In summary, the activities are:
- Cleaning of freefall sewers incl. BBB's and overflow pits
- Inspecting the freefall sewerage system
- Assessing inspection results
- Cleaning special constructions such as swirl valves etc.
- Cleaning discharge pipes
- Measurement and research work
- additional work.
It is expressly stated that the cleaning of gullies, pumping stations and pumping stations and the carrying out of minor repairs is not part of the subject of tendering.
