Mortensnes project consists of 5 different parts. This assignment is for detailed engineering design work for parts 2-5. The assignment shall be designed as two different tender competitions. Part 2 will be one tender and parts 3-5 will be the second. The engineering design basis from parts 3-5 shall be included in a collaboration contract. In addition an overview map must be prepared for the entire area, showing route choices for pipeline and water routes, as well as the chosen dimensions.

Mortensnes project consists of 5 different parts (see the attached overview map). This assignment is for detailed engineering design work for parts 2-5. The assignment shall be designed as two different site descriptions. Part 2 will be one site and parts 3-5 will be the second. The engineering design basis from parts 3-5 shall be included in a collaboration contract. In addition an overview map must be prepared for the entire area, showing route choices for pipeline and water routes, as well as the chosen dimensions. Part 1 has been carried out and is not a part of this tender documentation.

The sewage installations in the entire area shall be planned as a completely separate system. This also means that the private service pipes will be completely separated in order to catch the drainage and roof water from the properties in the area. The complete drainage situation shall be described for part 2. A new 315 mm PE transfer pipeline shall be laid for water and a new 400 mm OV pipeline. The route starts from the junction Dramsvegen/Styrmansvegen and goes in the road and further out in the terrain/bridleway. This route is planned in part 1, but must be added to the basis for the new engineering design services. This route is approx. 500 metres.

A new pavement shall also be planned along the current bus route. The road can be expanded along some stretches. There shall be plans for facilitating universal design. The development plan for the area shall form the basis for the engineering design services. The plan has not yet been approved, approval is expected by the municipal council in 2017. The old street lights shall be replaced in the entire area. Most of the cable companies are also expected to be involved in the planning for new cable installations in the area. The total clearance area for part 2 makes up approx. 1 700 metres + 500 metres OV pipeline. The clearance area (parts 2-5) will in total comprise approx. 5 500 metres with ditches, roads and cable routes.
