The use of new vehicles is planned in the tram network of Stadtwerke Verkehrs Gesellschaft Frankfurt am Main mbH (hereinafter referred to as "VGF"). The traction power supply systems must be adapted to the requirements of the new vehicles. In the course of this work, the rectifier plant (GW) Lyoner Straße will be replaced by a new GW in container construction at the same location. The GW already exists and has already been in operation as a temporary solution for the duration of the conversion of the Sigmund Freud GW. It is currently located at the VGF depot at the Römerhof. After completion of the foundations, the container with the stairs will be set up at the new location (not part of this tender).

The existing tender includes:

For lot 1:

Planning, production and delivery of a power supply cabinet, as well as a combined

Feed-in/return conductor cabinet including the associated cabinet bases.

For lot 2:

The technical commissioning of the GW including the associated systems (e.g. power supply cabinets)

Civil engineering and catenary works are not part of this call for tenders.

The tender includes the planning, manufacture and delivery of one power supply cabinet each

and a combined feed/return conductor cabinet.

The tender includes the commissioning of the Container GW at the Lyoner Straße site.
