Procurement of 18 universal tamping machines by the

DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH

Framework agreement for the development, manufacture and delivery of up to 18 approved universal hybrid tamping machines for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH.

Some technical data (not final):

- Drive is diesel-electric and also electric-electric possible (overhead line)

- The vehicle meets the requirements of the vehicle gauge according to EBO §22 Annex 8, gauge G 2 and DIN EN 15273-2.

- The vehicle can be used on all DB lines of route class D2.

- The tamping machine has at least (possibly more) universal two-sill units and an integrated DGS.

- The vehicle reaches a maximum speed of at least 100 km/h during transfer journeys.

- The cabins are ergonomic, user-friendly, air-conditioned, heated and suitable for the carriage of workers

- The vehicles are equipped with ETCS

- further requirements according to tender documents.
