The contracting authority, Bredbåndsfylket AS, would like to procure new firewalls as part of a WAN system that we are building for one of our customers. The background for the procurement is the increasing digitalisation in the municipal and county sector, which have greater demands for security and functionality.

Bredbåndsfylket AS will first procure 49 firewalls divided between 33 'small', 10 'medium', and 6 'large'. In addition we would like to procure 1 of each size to have as a reserve (without a licence). Total 52 firewalls.

The number of each size of firewall is subject to change after the tenders have been submitted, if the contracting authority deems it appropriate. The total number of firewalls (52) will remain the same or possibly be marginally higher.

The procurement value is estimated to be approx. NOK 3 million - NOK 6 million.

The contracting authority reserves the right that our customer has a cost limit for the procurement, and the contracting authority will cancel the contest if the total cost of the tenders exceed this limit. A prerequisite for the contract signing for the procurement of firewalls will thus be that our customer accepts the offered WAN system from the contracting authority.
