The Kröller-Müller Museum wishes to form a design team consisting of an elaborate architect (lot 1), a structural engineer (lot 2), an installation consultant (lot 3) and a building physics consultant with a BREEAM expert (lot 4). The already involved designer architect has made the structural design for the expansion of the museum and remains actively involved in its further elaboration. The expansion includes the new construction of exhibition spaces and various other functions as well as the repurposing of vacant spaces in the existing building. The sustainability ambition is to obtain the BREEAM certificate 'excellent'. The design elaboration must take place in a building information model (BIM) that the design team must draw up under the direction and coordination of the developing architect.
