The aim of the measures is to improve the flood protection of the existing settlements and commercial areas in the Offenberg / Metten polder from the current protection level at around HQ30 to a protection level of HQ100 and 1 m freeboard.

The part of the measures advertised here essentially includes the establishment of protective lines on both sides of the banks of the Metten brook. In addition to the dyke structures (some with attached flood protection wall), this includes the new construction of the Metten pumping station, a Siel / culvert structure, the construction of a new bridge and other measures such as connecting paths or adapting inland drainage.
The contractor must provide the type and scope of the work to be carried out within the framework of this contracting unit:
