The town of Pézenas (8,400 inhabitants) is a tourist resort with a remarkably well-preserved historic center (23 ha protected under the “Malraux Law”). It is Bourg-Center and Grand Site Occitanie, with a strong action, for several decades, in favor of the crafts and a dynamic cultural policy. In addition, the Hérault-Méditerranée agglomeration community, for its economic development, crafts and tourism promotion skills, wishes to join this policy in order to revitalize the city center. A 1 re Partnership experimentation now enables the community to better define its needs and to seek a lasting solution. This research takes the form of a consultation carried out by the city of Pézenas / urban community commissioning group.
