The embedded competence atlas must be easy to use. The site must - as far as technically possible - be built on a system that corresponds to the state of the art and is easy to maintain and maintain. The Internet offer must be publicly available without interruption even if the contract is re-awarded.

- Conception and implementation of differentiated approaches for the networking of the above-mentioned institutional actors with the representatives of the automotive industry with special consideration of the specific requirements of SMEs: The aspect of a strengthened strategy-oriented networking and support of the industry is to be taken up.

- Conception and implementation of one or two larger events (approx. 100 - 150 participants) with supra-regional appeal as well as five to six smaller thematically focused specialist events per year (workshops, lectures with discussion, etc., approx. 20 - 40 participants) - in the context of the strategic task - with the network partners and in particular with the target group of SMEs and with the involvement of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, agriculture and viticulture. Both face-to-face events, which serve networking in addition to the content aspect, as well as online formats are to be offered.

- Fulfillment of a pilot function against the background of high experience competence, especially with SMEs in the automotive industry with regard to

a) the initiation and use of public funding at the state and federal level combined with practical consulting experience, in particular with regard to the cooperation of SMEs with OEMs,

b) creation of transparency with regard to funding programmes of the EU, the federal government and the state, and

c) cooperation with public, in particular Rhineland-Palatinate, institutions in the field of research and development.

For the performance requirements outlined above, coherent and as integrated as possible solutions must be offered in which the various service offerings are stringently networked.

The focus of all services offered must be on the respective contribution to coping with the structural change in the automotive industry.
