Flughafen Zürich AG (FZAG) intends to completely redesign and renew its security screening systems over the next few years. The focus is mainly on replacing the security checkpoints for locally departing passengers and transfer passengers.

The new control lines will be equipped with EDSCB C3/4 devices for cabin baggage screening and will be operated in combination with an ATRS.

For the passenger screening process, security scanners (SSc) are to be used alone or in combination with metal detectors (WTMD).
