The assignment involves developing, organizing and conducting a further training course for lecturer researchers from international Dutch school, commissioned by and in collaboration with the Taalunie.

Audience:

• Lecturer researchers from the international Dutch language, regardless of their native language or scientific experience.

• In consultation with the Taalunie, a number of places are kept free for Dutch teacher researchers in Flanders and the Netherlands.

• Minimum number of participants: 20.

• Participants' contact details will be shared with the Language Union.

The assignment concerns the organisation of the training course for four editions: 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

The maximum available budget per edition is 30000 EUR.

General objectives of the contract:

• Accompany teacher researchers with their own research projects;

• Inform lecturers on the state of play of the relevant (subareas of) Dutch linguistics, literature and culture;

• Allow lecturers to gain new, scientifically validated knowledge within those areas and guide them to apply this acquired knowledge in their teaching and research practice;

• Give teacher researchers the opportunity to build scientific networks.
