The assignment is an assignment in the context of Plexus joint purchase, whereby the contracting authority also acts on behalf of other participating hospitals (see I.2 Identity of the client).

The estimate of the need is the estimate for all participating hospitals. However, the estimate does not imply a commitment for the quantity to be purchased.
