He purpose of this competition is to establish a number of Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) to cover 17 international territories to cater for students for all schools in addition to students specifically for the School of Medicine.

The DPS will be available to facilitate the recruitment of international students on behalf of NUI Galway by International Recruitment Agents for the 2020/2021 academic year.

A DPS is a procedure similar to a framework, but with the important difference that new candidates can join at any time. However, a DPS has its own specific set of requirements. It has to be run as a completely electronic process and follows the restricted procedure. The DPS will operate for a maximum period of 6 years.

The service will be required in 17 territories as follows: India, Pakistan, Nigeria, NUI Galway (SoM) Asean Countries, The Americas (General), NUI Galway (SoM) The Americas, Gulf Cooperation Countries (General), Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Peoples Republic of China, Gulf Cooperation Countries (SOM). Rest of World (RoW).
