The cutting and removal of existing asphalt surface on the main runway at Andøya airstation. Thereafter there shall be performed the sealing (reinforcement) of the joints in the concrete surface, alternatively the annealing (partial breakage) of this. The shoulders of the runways shall be expanded by 1 meter on each side.

Total asphalt quantity is in the region of 30 000 tonnes.

The surface water and drainage system along the runway shall be renewed, and the need to establish new cable conduits and cables for the runway lights along the entire runway.

The assignment also includes milling and resurfacing of the taxiway, and the correction of concrete base and asphalt shoulders at other airstation runways.
