On the 1st floor, areas of the boardrooms, the former image site, laboratory rooms, canteen area and indoor lounges are heated and ventilated via central ventilation systems. In the two basement floors of the underground car park, a separate ventilation system with flue gas monitoring ensures the necessary air exchange.
After an expert assessment of the existing situation, an overall renovation of ventilation systems is necessary for technical, hygienic and particularly energy reasons.
In the course of the planning phase, a comprehensive recording of the inventory situation is required in the first step. The results and effects of pollutant and hygiene inspections need to be evaluated. In addition, the structural and fire protection conditions, in cooperation with the fire protection officer of the Düren district, must be incorporated and integrated into the planning process. A current fire protection concept is available. In the following, the future ventilation concept must be coordinated with the client.
The new plants are to be planned up to date with the latest technology during operation and comply with the funding guidelines of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety's climate protection initiative.
