Appointment of a design team for the construction of a Medical Center in Evergem

The project zone is a plot with commercial property with 4 apartments located at 9940 Evergem, Hulleken 19.

Cadastral: Evergem, 2nd division, section F, no. 370m.

Cadastral area: 2501 m2. Plot width ±36m. Year of construction 1978 and 1989.

The hospital purchased this plot with building to develop a medical center (satellite) of AZ Sint-Lucas Ghent.

To increase the service to the patients. For pre- or postal care in the event of a procedure. Holding ordinary consultations. Low care dialysis.

Reduce the movement for the patient in the spacious environment.

After weighing the pros and cons, it was decided to demolish the existing buildings and, after preparing the plot for construction, to realize a new building for the following services;

 Outpatient clinic for consultations, minor treatment and examination

 Medical Imaging Service.

Dialysis low-care service.

Each entity must be able to function independently of each other, possibly at different times, but at the same time be able to use common parts or even work together. There must be a certain lockable physical connection between the different disciplines, services.
