ÅBV intends to procure a new rescue vehicle. ÅBV requires the vehicle to be of good quality with practical and durable solutions. Training and vehicle documentation must be provided by the supplier.

The vehicle will be used to transport both personnel and equipment and must be a ‘chassis with body’.

The vehicle must be two axles, operate on both axles and have automatic gears. We assess that the vehicle will have an Axle base around +- 4 300-4 600 mm, a total height of approx. 3 400 mm and a total length of approx. 8 500 mm. The size indications are based on the physical garage conditions that apply. Accessibility in ÅBV's area of responsibility (all of Sunnmøre) it is important that the vehicle is manufactured with consideration to both humidity (salt) and windy conditions. It is possible the procurement will also include some equipment/inventory. Both chassis and body must be delivered in anti corrosive (corrosion treated) material, with an expected lifetime of at least 15 years.

The requirement specification will be available to qualified tenderers, simultaneously.
