The contracting authority would like tenders for the operation and maintenance of the measurement network for local air quality in Oslo and Akershus. The measurement network consists of a total of 9 fixed measurement stations (6 in Oslo and 3 in Akershus), as well as a BC meter in Lillestrøm and an ozone meter in Lommedalen.

The aim of the procurement is to ensure that the measurement network in Oslo and Akershus measures and operates in accordance with the current quality requirements.

The Pollution Regulation chapter 7 about local pollution provides guidelines for measuring of local pollution in large urban areas to ensure that the regulation's limit values are not exceeded. In Oslo and Akershus the air quality is monitored by 1 measurement network one nine fixed measurement stations, in addition to an ozone meter in Lommedalen. 6 fixed measurement stations are located in Oslo, whilst 3 are localised in Bærum, Lillestrøm and Lørenskog. In addition there is a BC meter that is provisionally located at Vigernes (Lillestrøm) and an ozone meter in Lommedalen (Bærum).

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration owns the instruments itself.

The assignment includes 3 main points:

1. Operation and maintenance of the measurement stations (including annual service of the measuring equipment).

2. Transferring the measuring data to a central measurement database.

3. Possible moving of fixed and/or mobile measurement station.
