The work to be carried out under this framework agreement consists of carrying out scientific studies to improve the future offer of the European Copernicus Marine Service. The work should make it possible to implement part of the service's evolution activities in the medium term (1 to 2 year cycle) and to mobilize the best available expertise in terms of R&D. The objective is to support the R&D activities necessary to ensure the evolution of the Copernicus Marine Service and keep it up to date with the scientific state of the art by exploring new methods of product development. The needs of users in terms of quantitative information (e.g. types of variables, geographical coverage and resolution) and scientific quality of Copernicus Marine Service products are the main drivers of these R&D activities
