The overarching goal of the research center CPS is to redesign production based on the application of artificial intelligence and the realization of a “new production”. This is accompanied by the endeavor to consistently implement the quantity “1” in series production and to provide a growing, adaptable production technology, especially for start-ups and SMEs.
As part of the construction of the research center CPS, a new building on Nöthnitzer Straße will produce the required office, laboratory, workshop and storage space and a technical center.

There are 2 construction sites located next to each other on Nöthnitzer Straße for the implementation of the new building. There is a cold air path between the two construction sites, which must be kept clear of above-ground construction facilities.
