The competition concerns a contract for delivery of sodium silicate (water glass).

Based on estimated consumption of approx. 700 tonne per year, and the current prices, the procurement value is anticipated to be approx. 1 700 000 NOK excluding VAT per year. The volume is an estimate and, thus, not binding. See the tender documentation for further information.

Tenders cannot be submitted for parts of the assignment, and alternative tenders are not allowed.

The contract duration is four (4) years, calculated from the start-up date. The contract will then be renewed automatically for one (1) year at a time, unless 6 (six) months notice is given by the Contracting Authority before the renewal date. The tenderer has the option to terminate the contract 12 (twelve) months prior to the notification of contract renewal. Due to a technical error, it is stated in point II.2.7 that the contract cannot be renewed. This is wrong. The contract can be renewed.

The Contracting Authority will enter into a contract with one (1) tenderer.
