Avon and Somerset Constabulary serves a resident population of around 1.5 million in the counties of South Gloucestershire, Somerset and the cities of Bristol and Bath. It does so with approximately 3000 full time Police Officers, 500 Police Community Support Officers and 550 Special Constables, supported by approximately 2000 Police Staff.

Policing is organised into six districts, each of which is sub divided into geographic sectors and then further into beats.

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Avon and Somerset is seeking a Contractor to provide a fully managed vehicle recovery service. The Service is to include:

-Call Handling

-Managed Network of approved vehicle recovery operators

-Roadside breakdown and recovery services
