The Defence Forces (DF) provides the majority of ICT support requirements from internal resources. The Communications and Information Service (CIS) Corps is responsible for the provision of ICT infrastructure, strategic applications and network services to the wider Defence Forces.
The Defence Forces network is privately hosted and maintained with a high percentage of the infrastructure virtualised. To ensure an efficient operational tempo of this infrastructure the DF will engage an external ICT professional services organisation(s).
The DF will provide supplementary technical description documents to candidates (maximum of 5) selected to participate in the competitive dialogue process subject to the signing of a confidentiality agreement.
