1. The subject of the currently awarded contract is winter maintenance of the roadway of streets with an area of 1 165 735.38 m2 being in the Management Board of MZUiM.
2. A detailed description of the subject of the contract includes Annexes 4, 4a, 4b, 5, 6 to the CMS.
The contracting authority informs that it plans to award a contract for services related to the maintenance of roadways in the City of Chorzów in two parts, each of which will be the subject of a separate procedure:
1) Summer cleaning of the road surface of streets with an area of 1 165 735.38 m2 being in the Management Board of MZUiM in Chorzów – the contract notice was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 12.04.2023 under number 2023 / S 072-218871.
2) Winter maintenance of the road surface of streets with an area of 1 165 735.38 m2 being in the Management Board of MZUiM in Chorzów - being the subject of this order.
Pursuant to Article 30(1) of the Public Procurement Law, if the Contracting Authority plans to award a contract for services in lots, each of which is the subject of a separate procedure, the value of the contract is the total value of the individual lots. The value of the contract exceeds the EU thresholds referred to in Article 3 of the Public Procurement Law. This threshold for services, in accordance with the Announcement of the President of the Public Procurement Office of 3 December 2021 on the current EU thresholds, their equivalent in PLN, the PLN equivalent of amounts expressed in euro and the average PLN exchange rate in relation to the euro constituting the basis for converting the value of public contracts or competitions, is EUR 215,000, which is the equivalent of PLN 957,524."

4. The contracting authority shall not allow a variant bid to be submitted.
5. GENERAL REMARKS ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT:
1) The Contracting Authority imposes on the Contractor obligations in the scope of:
(a) separate collection, separate export, as required by law, of waste which will appear on the property under maintenance or will be generated as a result of activities arising from or related to the performance of the procurement contract;
b) management of municipal waste collected from properties covered by maintenance – to the extent that it is the obligation of the person actually in possession of the property – the Contractor is obliged to implement it in the manner specified in the applicable law.
2) As part of the provision of the service, the provisions contained in the detailed scope of services contained in Annexes No. 4, 4a and 4b, 5 and 6 to this Specification must be followed.
