The purpose of this tender is to contract the shredding, transport and treatment service to an authorized manager of green waste and wood from the Pla de l'Estany County Council.

Green waste consists of the vegetable fraction originating from gardening, pruning, cleaning private and public gardens, cleaning parks, etc. (remains of trees, branches, leaves, grass, etc.) and may include improper (bags and other materials deposited in the collection containers); wood consists of remains of carpentry workshops, material from the clean point, doors, window frames, furniture scraps including metal elements (keys, hinges, etc.), pieces of wood packaging, board, natural wood, painted and varnished wood etc.

This service includes:

• The on-site shredding of plant remains and wood that the County Council accumulates in the reception area and at the clean point of Puigpalter; their transport to the premises of an authorised management company and their correct treatment in accordance with waste regulations.

• The conditioning and maintenance of the platform where the green waste and wood are received.

• All permits and documentation necessary for the management of this waste
