NHS Dumfries and Galloway appointed a private sector partner in the form of the High Wood Health Consortium to participate and invest in the Acute Services Redevelopment Project (the ‘Project’).
The Project involves the design, build, finance and maintenance of a new District General Hospital. This will be delivered under the Scottish Futures Trust's Non-Profit Distributing (NPD) model which is the form of public-private partnership preferred by the Scottish Government.
