The commissioners of Irish Lights seek proposals for the repair, refit and survey of their Aids to Navigation Vessel ILV Granuaile at a suitable dry-dock.

Such work will include:

— painting,

— engineering,

— electrical and outfitting.

Details of the various components involved in this proposal are listed in the technical specification attached.

This project covers the mandatory dry docking and special survey of the ILV Granuaile in 2019. Special surveys to renew the vessels classification certificate. Surveys are required to verify that the structure, machinery, systems and equipment on the ship are in a satisfactory condition. This 5 yearly special survey involves additional inspection of machinery components, Schottel units, structural integrity, hull thickness measurements and tank pressure testing.
