I/S REFA (Ordregiver) is a joint municipal stakeholder that is located in Region Zealand and covers Guldborgsund and Lolland municipalities. Contracting entities stand for the collection and treatment of waste in the 2 stakeholder municipalities. The municipalities have the ult. 2021 collected approximately 100,500 inhabitants, 52,000 households and 10,600 second homes.

The tender - subsequently designated the contract - includes the transhipment, transport, pre-treatment and recovery of household-collected food waste.

The contract includes the following benefits

1.Receiving and transhipment of household collected food waste at a transhipment site established by the Bidder and located in the catchment area of contracting

2.Transport of household collected food waste to pre-treatment plants from the transhipment site

3.Pretreatment of the food waste at the Bidder's pre-treatment plant

4.Marketing of pretreated food waste, pulp, to recovery facilities (biogasification)

5.Finishing and demission/recovery of shrimp from the preprocessing of food waste for recovery (incineration, material recycling).
