As part of the external development of the NBG Dietenbach, pipeline work for district heating and drinking water is being carried out. The route crosses the Dreisam, after which the construction section leads through the street "Am Silberhof" to the B31. On the Lehen side, first through a field to the southern end of the street "Im Zinklern". An approx. 150m long access road has to be built here. On both sides of the Dreisam, construction site equipment areas are needed for a heavy-duty crane, provision of flood barriers, etc. For cyclists, a bypass must be set up around the BE area.

The district heating and drinking water pipelines will be laid in an open trench. The crossing of the Dreisam as well as the dams will be carried out in the protective pipe and also open as the first measure in summer 2024.
