"10% of households in the Netherlands have too high an energy bill compared to their income. They have difficulty paying the energy bill. That's what you call energy poverty."

The central government is making 150 million euros available to municipalities, which can get to work in neighbourhoods where there is a lot of energy poverty. Municipalities decide for themselves how they do this, also in consultation with housing corporations.
