The North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (NELCCG) wishes to develop a Single Provider model for Advocacy in the borough of North East Lincolnshire.
Within North East Lincolnshire and as a result of the implementation of the Care Act 2014 there has been a significant review of Advocacy services, which has led to the re-visioning of Advocacy services locally.
In consultation with service users and local providers NELCCG is looking to deliver Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), Advocacy under the Care Act 2014, and general advocacy through a single Independent Advocacy provider, ensuring consistency of advocate for vulnerable people through the care pathways.
An initial contract of 3 years will be offered, commencing from 1.10.2015 with the possibility of extending the term beyond the initial contracted duration by annual review and with mutual agreement from the Provider and NELCCG.
