Finnish Border Guard (later Contracting Authority or Buyer) requests tenders for two (2) Maritime surveillance aircraft Dornier 228-212 modification and maintenance services.

1. The primary scope of the tender is to change aircraft attitude and heading reference system to a more capable system allowing safe execution of Finnish Border Guard mission flights. In addition, as an option ADSB-Out inhibit function.

2. As an option. The existing mission communication systems are to be enhanced with improved SATCOM and Mobile 3/4G systems. The Tactical Computer docking station is to be updated.

3. As an option. The aircraft yearly maintenance.

4. Training for systems changed by items 1 and 2.

More details for operational and technical specifications are available in draft Contract Appendices. The options (items 2-4) may be procured as whole items or individual subsystem changes. The tenderer shall propose all items and their sub-items.
