It has been decided to build a new treatment plant that will replace the current plant. Positioning of the new plant involves the terrain being raised to avoid the flood zone, and a crossing must be established with approved arrival from Rv7. The new plant must be designed for 17 000 pe.
The objective of the procurement is to prepare a preliminary project for the new treatment plant at Nesbyen. The preliminary project will form the decision basis for the detailed engineering design of the new treatment plant. Detailed engineering design of the new treatment plant is included as an option. The same terms apply for the option. The Contracting Authority will decide whether or not to trigger the option at a later point in time. Prior to triggering the option, the price estimate for the option must be in place.

The objective of the tender contest is to enter into Nes municipality has an existing mechanical/chemical treatment plant from the 1970s, with a capacity of 5 300 pe. Based on the municipality preparing for increased population growth, increased cabin building and business development and anticipation of secondary treatment requirements for the current plant, it will not be able to cover the future needs for capacity and environmental requirements.
A draft project has been carried out and it has been decided to construct a new treatment plant that will replace the current plant. The new plant will be located directly south of the current plant. The current plant address is Hallingdalsvegen 5316, and it is located along Rv7 [National Road 7] directly by the approach to Nesbyen.
