The construction project is located on the A4 between the AS Köln-Merheim (AM Grenze) and the AS Berg. Gladbach-Bensberg (Moitzfeld), between operating kilometres 87+000 and 95+000. In the affected section are the junctions Refrath, Berg. Gladbach-Frankenforst and Berg. Gladbach Bensberg (Moitzfeld), as well as the lustheide service area.

This section of the A 4 motorway was built in the 1970s and largely has a two-lane cross-section with hard shoulders. The nature of the surface course is very different due to numerous partial renovation measures and overall in need of renovation. For this section of the line and, where appropriate, for the junctions, a renewal of the surface and binder layer, including the road inlets and on-board installations, is envisaged.

Maintenance measures at the rest area are planned for a later date and are therefore not part of this contract.

The Contractor shall take over the

- Local construction supervision

- Bauoberleitung

- Objektbetreuung

for all services arising from the aforementioned construction contracts (including all lots) and ensures their contractual construction.
