The client is planning to build an NGA network (FTTB) on part of the municipal area of Buchenbach and Löffingen. The aim is to eliminate any white spots that still exist there.
Lot 1 - BuchenbachThe client plans to set up an NGA network (FTTB) on part of the district of the municipality of Buchenbach. The aim is to remove any white spots that still exist there.
The project is to be funded according to the guideline "Funding for the support of broadband expansion in the Federal Republic of Germany" as well as according to the administrative regulation of the Ministry of the Interior for co-financing of the funding from the guideline for the support of broadband expansion in the Federal Republic of Germany (VwV broadband co-financing) and VWV broadband funding. The preliminary funding decision dated 29.03.2021 for the project is attached to the preliminary funding decision dated 29.03.2021. A total of around EUR 12,723,016.95 net investments are planned for the expansion of the NGA network (FTTB).

The current state of planning corresponds to a draft plan based on the existing structural planning. A total of approx. 378 FTTB house connections are planned. The project includes:
- New railway line (paved surface): 50,166 m
- New track construction (unpaved surface): 11.33 m
- Cable retraction into existing empty conduits: 9,404 m
- FTTB distributors (enclosures and/or shafts): 44 pieces
- POP prefabricated buildings and/or cabinets: 3 pieces
In addition, the eligible tunneling is planned on the basis of reserve capacities. The planning status will be communicated accordingly with the request to submit an offer in the next procedural step.

Lot 2 LöffingenThe client plans to set up an NGA network (FTTB) on part of the municipal district of Löffingen. The aim is to remove any white spots that still exist there. The services to be provided for the local network are limited to the Göschweiler and Bachheim districts.
The project is to be funded according to the guideline "Funding for the support of broadband expansion in the Federal Republic of Germany" as well as according to the administrative regulation of the Ministry of the Interior for co-financing of the funding from the guideline for the support of broadband expansion in the Federal Republic of Germany (VwV broadband co-financing) and VWV broadband funding. The preliminary funding decision dated 22.03.2021 for the project is attached to the provisional funding decision dated 22.03.2021. A total of around EUR 8,325,220.24 net investments are planned for the expansion of the NGA network (FTTB).
