The aim of the task is to replace technologically obsolete (the average age of built-in devices is over 40 years) and worn-out automatic driving systems for new generation devices along with the installation of crossing warning shields (TOP) and/or their dependence with station equipment, replacement of telephone sets, adaptation of power equipment and replacement of lighting poles and energy-consuming luminaires with LEDs.
Installation of new devices that meet the requirements of applicable law (e.g. Regulation of MIiR of 20.10.2015, item 1744 of późn.zm), internal regulations of PKP PLK S.A. (m.in. Ie-119) will improve safety at rail-road crossings.
Defects caused by worn out components of SSP devices, limited troubleshooting time caused by lack of availability of new components and spare parts (most are repaired and remanufactured) will be eliminated.
